Biomimicry is the imitation of the models, systems, and elements of nature for the purpose of solving complex human problems.
✔️ Bionomics: (Greek: bio = life; nomos = law) the comprehensive study of an organism and its relation to its environment.     As translated from the French word Bionomie,  its first use in English was in the period of 1885-1890.

Bionomic design:

[ Intentional ] - Relational design that propels humans to thrive in the created environment.

First Let's

Discover
Some days a simple meditative walk can provide a quick pick-me-up for employees and even management. During stressful afternoon's a 'discovery walk"  can help us gain needed perspective.  Think about the relation of plants, trees, and natural views that intrigue you. Why does nature draw you in and refresh you? Note what you discover.

Now let's WORK

Design
If you are a designer, architect, engineer, human resource officer or a cube farm laborer, take time to design and align your work area to the "created". Take time to resemble and replicate what you have discovered from the created environment. Don't be shy, the time you spend  will increase your effectiveness - remember...Bionomic Design is not rocket science!

IT'S UP TO US

Change
The meaning of life, purpose, motivation and effectiveness remain to defy the grasp of most. The main reason for this sense of loss and anxiousness in our daily tasks is  because we are disconnected. We are removed from the moment by moment renewal that the created environment was ... well, created for!  - The change depends on you. -- discover what we are designed for.
